This week, Wendy Williams interviewed Aretha Franklin and discussed her weight loss, her health, The Grammy Tribute, her fear of flying, Columbia Records and much more. This is the first interview Aretha Franklin has done since her surgery, last December.
There were many rumors from the mysterious ailment she was going through, and I personally really like the answer Aretha Franklin gave regarding what she just went through. Frankly, it's none of our business, as long as she's doing well and feeling well that's all it counts!
"A lot of things were said. I left that behind," she added. "And I couldn't be feeling any better than I'm feeling right now."
On the Grammy tribute: "Aguilera was good. She was feelin' it, she was feelin' it."
On the suggestion of Queen Latifah playing her in a biopic: "No."
On growing up as the daughter of a famous preacher: "We had food stamps, too. Back in the day, way back in the day, we had food stamps."
On other career choices besides singing: "I may have been a prima ballerina. Or an executive secretary."
Check out Wendy Williams' interview with Aretha Franklin below, and don't forget that we still have TWO more albums to give away!
