Whitney Houston's New Album


"I Look To You" will be the first album Whitney Houston will release since 2002. The album will be released on September 1st. will.i.am, Sean Garrett, and Akon all have contributed to the making of "I Look To You".

Madonna's "Celebration"


On September 28th, Warner Brothers will release "Celebration", the last album Madonna will make under her former label. "Celebration" is a greatest hits album which comprises 30 tracks from Madonna's successful 26 year career in the music industry. A DVD featuring the singer’s most popular videos will be made available on the same day.

“Celebration,” the CD will also include two new songs that were recently recorded in New York City. The first single, also titled, “Celebration,” co-produced by Madonna and Paul Oakenfold, will be released August 3rd. (

Prince Montreux Jazz Festival Reviews, Pictures, Videos


"Montreux, thank you," Prince said, as he blew a kiss to the crowd before kicking off an encore with "Insatiable."

Prince closed the Montreux Jazz Festival with two amazing shows! He's receiving a lot of praise by organizers, fans, and critics!

Claude Nobs, founder of the festival in its 43rd annual edition, told fans cheering in vain for a second encore: "The jazz set he created here tonight has never been performed elsewhere."

"This was a very different show," said Patrick O'Keeffe, from Ireland. "He rarely plays with just three band members, normally it is much bigger band with brass and horns and sax."

Exclusive Prince Song on Montreux Jazz Fest Site!


As previously reported, Prince is going to perform tomorrow night 2 shows at the Montreux Jazz Festival. For this occasion, he has released exclusively on the Jazz Festivals's site a song never previously released. It's titled "In a Large Room With No Light" and is available here.

"In a Large Room With No Light" is a groovy mix of soul, jazz and funk, whose melodic structure mounts to a guitar solo climax." (Montreux Jazz Festival Site).

The song is a great preview to what those lucky 7000 ticket holders will see!

Jamie Foxx and Chanj Perform 'Rock With You'


Chanj took the stage with some of the industry's elite to pay tribute to Michael Jackson!

Already receiving praise from the likes of actress Taraji P. Henson and producers Dre and Vidal, rising talent Chanj took the stage with Jamie Foxx, Teena Marie, Trey Songz, Lil Mama, Estelle, Day26 and others to perform the classic Michael Jackson track "Rock With You". New Beyonce Video - Sweet Dreams


Beyonce's new video for "Sweet Dreams" leaked before the release of Beyoncé's 2008 album I Am ... Sasha Fierce, only back then, it was called "Beautiful Nightmare". The vidwo was directed by Adira Petty (whose résumé includes clips for Duffy and Regina Spektor).

Beyonce's dancers who have accompanied her throughout "I Am... Sasha Fierce" are also to be seen in this new video (Ebony Williams and Ashley Everett). The release of this new single most likely sets out Beyonce for another chart topping position.

Mandela Day Line Up


Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, and Queen Latifah have all signed up for the 'Mandela Day'.

According to organizers, each artist will participate in a July 18 concert to raise awareness and funds with the intention of creating an official Mandela Day to be held annually on his birthday, July 18.

Tickets for the event, taking place at Radio City Music Hall, are currently on sale through Ticketmaster, Live Nation and thegarden.com.

Other artists and actors lined up for this event include Will.I.Am, Wyclef Jean, Dave Stewart, Lil Kim, Jesse McCartney, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Gaynor, Emmanuael Jal, Suzanna Owiyo, Whoppi Goldberg, Forest Whitaker, and Morgan Freeman.

Michael Jackson Rehearsing "This Is It"


AEG has released a video showing Michael Jackson rehearsing for his tour. It is believed that it will be made into a motion picture. More than 100 hours of footage could be turned into albums and a special movie could also be made. From this video one can clearly see that Michael was completely in shape just two days before his tragic end.
